  Safety, Effectiveness and Spray Mechanics

An international government agency needed to gauge the pressure and pressure distribution of its pepper-spray delivery device.  They turned to PPS for the answer.

In order to meet the study’s requirements, PPS needed a highly sensitive sensor array, with high resolution and scanning at a fast speed. Our engineers designed a custom sensor on the T2000 system. The sensor was a modified high-resolution Conformable TactArray Sensor (CTS)  mounted on a customer-supplied testing plate. PPS engineers then devised a Teflon sheathing to protect the sensor from caustic fluids.

PPS continues to push the boundary in spray measurement, with successful solutions delivered to customers investigating and optimizing industrial spray processes in manufacturing.
